Top Tips To Natural Healing At Home
Most of us have been taught to curse our physical symptoms and to get rid of them through surgery or medication or to deny or cope with them. Doing this sends messages to ourselves that say “You’re not important.” or “This organ or breast isn’t needed.” We tell ourselves we don’t have time to feel, grieve or heal naturally. However, if we can see our first symptoms as inherent messengers, we can learn natural remedies to prevent many of our health-related issues. Our bodies tell the truth. We can learn how our emotions manifest as physical challenges.
When you look at yourself in the mirror, you may recognise that your own emotional pain as a “physical art form,” and that it will transform before you and your body will heal a devastating disease. Personally and by the age of 35, I felt comfortable in my new clothes, home and car. Many different companies hired me to help them with their business problems, and I would normally work at least 14 hours a day.
Then one day it was all over. I was in a specialist’s office being diagnosed with rosacea, an incurable, deforming, disfiguring facial skin disease. Treating myself like an infallible machine had caught up with me. The disease had no mercy as it continued to worsen for the next six years. I spent all my financial resources going from medical specialists to naturopathic practitioners, in my heart begging to understand how my immune system could heal and repair.
I concluded that the body is a natural system, so I chose to avoid medications. Fifty doctors later, I was still searching for those same answers. I was determined to prove that the inherent intelligence within me knew how to heal me, after six years I began to doubt my core belief.
By the time I had reached 40, my skin was red and looked inflamed, and I would need to rid myself of boils on a daily basis. Also, the sight was going in my eyes and I could not read or drive any longer. This made a huge impact on the dreams I had about travelling and seeing the world, and I came to realise why people actually take their own lives because of the pain they are going through.
A few years later I went to visit a Chinese doctor who diagnosed me with something different from the other physicians. He believed the disease was not simply just my face, but included the natural biological rhythms of my body being out of harmony. He said this resulted in my face being directly affected due to emotional fear and stress. Also, he saw other signs that my body was exhausted when he examined me. He said that my body looked frail, and that I should find peace at whatever price. I was so glad that he had given me a different opinion.
I started emotional therapy, first addressing the fears that had consumed me since my diagnoses, and then going further back into my past. I began to face my work addiction (workaholic: one who works often while physically exhausted and emotionally empty.) Denying stress and personal needs had become a way of life. My false feeling of worthiness and internal need to always be needed had pushed this addiction forward. I had a compulsion to stay busy and numb out, serving out of exhaustion had caused me to feel angry and resentful at my own behavior. I had served others for years at my own expense until my body as my friend stopped me.
After sharing my story for over a year, after crying and trying to release pent-up emotions and an addiction to work in the local community I came across a miracle. I healed physically without scars and the sight in my eyes returned to normal. I had been on a healthy diet and exercise regularly for years which helped my body in the transformation. It was a program that I had worked out for myself that helped my body heal naturally and I did not have to take medications.
Instant Relaxation Through Meditation CDs
Meditation Cds and mp3 tracks are getting very popular and you can see why. They allow us to fit the benefits of meditation into our busy lives and with virtually no effort.
Stress is one of the biggest causes of lost work days, being linked with both psychological and physical illnesses. In the current economic climate, the stress is only increasing and it even more important to be seen to be on top of our jobs.
Meditation can be a great way to wind down from the pressures of life but it takes up time that few of us have. Plus, being under stress in the first place makes the calming meditative state difficult to achieve.
But technology has come to our rescue with meditation audio tracks. Available either on CD or as mp3 downloads, they can make meditation quick and easy.
Binaural beat technology is the answer. Playing different sounds into each ear causes the brain to generate an electrical signal whose frequency is the difference between the original two sounds.
This entrainment process has been known and safely used for many years. Your brain reaches deep meditation states that could take years of practice to achieve and are hard to maintain by normal methods.
Pleasant music or relaxing sounds mask the tones. You can choose to pay attention to these or to mentally tune them out. You can use the time for some quiet reflection.
Meditation mp3 and CDs come in different lengths and prices. Some are designed to deal with specific issues. Deep meditation is available at the touch of a button. Relaxation is quick and easy.
Your Circadian Rhythm -Is It Keeping You Awake?
Your circadian rhythm and it’s level of function is closely connected to insomnia. While it is commonly believed that the circadian rhythm has to do with the time of day, it has a lot to do with the amount of light or darkness. We all have a clock inside that gives us a nudge when it is time to go to sleep for the night and when it is time to get up.
The circadian rhythm IS the internal clock. These rhythms are to some degree governed by hormones secreted by endocrine glands throughout the day. And our body temperature and overall mental acuity and alertness are only some of the factors affected by the circadian rhythm.
Our circadian rhythms are partially responsible for us having lots of energy during some parts of the day yet feeling sluggish and tired at other times of the day. Many people who have a sleep disorder related to their circadian rhythm tend to feel tired when they should be wide awake. People who work at night or keep odd hours are the most common sufferers of this type of sleep disorder.
One of the biggest factors in regulating your circadian rhythms is how much exposure you get to very bright light, especially sunlight. When you don’t get enough light over a long period of time, such as during the winter, you may notice that you tend to feel more fatigued or have less energy when compared to the spring and summer.
Correcting sleep disorders caused by, or related to, your circadian rhythm can be done by light therapy specially designed to slowly reset your circadian rhythm. The light is delivered from what is called a “light box” which has the correct wavelengths of light. 30-60 minutes of exposure to the light in conjunction with a strict sleep schedule explains the therapy.
To be successful with the light therapy the most important aspect is to time the light exposure correctly.Proper timing will be based on not only your schedule but also the type of insomnia.
Hypnosis – How Hard is it to Hypnotize Others?
Hypnosis is a special state of mind that includes heightened suggestibility in the unconscious willingness to follow instructions. This trance is really a state of focused concentration.
The main idea of hypnosis is to create a suggestible state of mind in the subject. And then implants the desired suggestions. Many times, you do not want someone to realize they are being hypnotized.
Hypnosis works best when the subject is relaxed and free of tension. It is helpful, if they are in a comfortable atmosphere and relaxed state of mind.
If the subject knows they are being hypnotized, you can ask for their cooperation. Have them try to recognize any tension in their body and begin relaxing. Tell them to focus on places where they are tense and begin a mental effort to relax those areas.
If you are going to hypnotize someone secretly, you can still try to get them relaxed and reduce any attention. Make sure there are no distractions like bright lights were loud noises.
The secret to hypnosis is in getting someone to focus inwardly and enter a trance or state of suggestibility. Once they are in a trance, you can begin implanting suggestions.
There are many courses and books that will show you the secrets to hypnosis. You can also find these secrets at websites such as hypnosis-x.info, or by searching the Web.
